【摘要】:Determiningthepotentiometricsurfaceofanareaisessentialforthepreliminaryplanningofanytypeofconstruction,landuse,environmentalinvestigations,orremediationprojectsthatmayinfluenceanaquifer.Thepotentiometricsurfaceintheproposedimpactedaquifermustbeknowntoproperlyplanfortheconstructionofawaterwithdrawalorrechargefacility,forexample,awell.Themethodofconstructionofstructures,suchasbuildings,canbecontrolledbythedepthofthegroundwaterneartheproject.Otherprojectsbuiltbelowlandsurface,suchasminesandtunnels,areinfluencedbythehydraulichead.Monitoringthetrendoftheground-watertableinanaquiferoveraperiodoftime,whetherfordaysordecades,isessentialforanypermanentlyconstructedfacilitythatdirectlyinfluencestheaquifer,forexample,awastedisposalsiteoraproductionwell.Long-termmonitoringhelpsinterpretthedirectionandrateofmovementofwaterandotherfluidsfromrechargewellsandpitsorwastedisposalsites.Monitoringalsoassistsindeterminingtheeffectsofwithdrawalsonthestoredquantityofwaterintheaquifer,thetrendofthewatertablethroughouttheaquifer,andtheamountofnaturalrechargetotheaquifer.Thisguidedescribesthebasictabularandgraphicmethodsofpresentingground-waterlevelsforasingleground-watersiteandseveralsitesovertheareaofaproject.Thesemethodsweredevelopedbyhydrologiststoassistintheinterpretationofhydraulic-headdata.Thetabularmethodshelpinthecomparisonofrawdataandmodifiednumbers.Thegraphicalmethodsvisuallydisplayseasonaltrendscontrolledbyprecipitation,trendsrelatedtoartificialwithdrawalsfromorrechargetotheaquifer,interrelationshipofwithdrawalandrechargesites,rateanddirectionofwatermovementintheaquifer,andothereventsinfluencingtheaquifer.Presentationtechniquesresultingfromextensivecomputationalmethods,specificallythemathematicalmodelsandthedeterminationofaquifercharacteristics,arecontainedintheASTMstandardslistedinSection2.1.1Thisguidecoversandsummarizesmethodsforthepresentationofwater-leveldatafromground-watersites.Note18212;Asusedinthisguide,asiteismeanttobeasinglepoint,notageographicareaorproperty,locatedbyanX,Y,andZcoordinatepositionwithrespecttolandsurfaceorafixeddatum.Aground-watersiteisdefinedasanysource,location,orsamplingstationcapableofproducingwaterorhydrologicdatafromanaturalstratumfrombelowthesurfaceoftheearth.Asourceorfacilitycanincludeawell,springorseep,anddrainortunnel(nearlyhorizontalinorientation).Othersources,suchasexcavations,drivendevices,boreholes,ponds,lakes,andsinkholes,whichcanbeshowntobehydraulicallyconnectedtothegroundwater,areappropriatefortheuseintended.1.2Thestudyofthewatertableinaquifershelpsintheinterpretationoftheamountofwateravailableforwithdrawal,aquifertests,movementofwaterthroughtheaquifers,andtheeffectsofnaturalandhuman-inducedforcesontheaquifers.1.3Asinglewaterlevelmeasuredataground-watersitegivestheheightofwateratoneverticalpositioninawellorboreholeatafiniteinstantintime.Thisisinformationthatcanbeusedforpreliminaryplanningintheconstructionofawellorotherfacilities,suchasdisposalpits.Note28212;Hydraulicheadmeasuredwithinashorttimefromaseriesofsitesatacommon(single)horizontallocation,forexample,aspeciallyconstructedmulti-leveltestwell,indicatewhethertheverticalhydraulic......
