【摘要】:1.1TheserequirementscoverelectricalequipmentusedforthecontrolandmonitoringofflammableliquidandLP-Gasdispensingdevicesrated600voltsorless.SuchcontrolequipmentisintendedtobeinstalledinordinarylocationsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.1revisedMay16,20081.2TheserequirementsalsocoverelectricalcontrolequipmentthatiscapableofbeinginstalledinoroverahazardousareaasdefinedbytheFlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,NFPA30.ElectricalcontrolequipmentforinstallationinaClassI,Division1orDivision2hazardousareashallcomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsfortheHazardousLocationprotectionmethodemployed.SeeAppendixAforalistofappropriatestandards.1.2revisedMay16,20081.3Theserequirementscovergeneral-usefield-installedequipment.Theyalsocovercontrolsintendedtobefactoryinstalledonorincertaindevicesasoperatingcontrols.Typicaldevicescoveredbytheserequirementsinclude:a)CommunicationUnits–Visual,pulse,oraudiodeviceswhichcomplieswiththetransmittalofdataorinformation.Suchdevicesincludeaudioorvisualsystemsbetweentheservicestationattendantandthecustomer,anddataprocessingsystemsbetweentheservicestationandaremotedataprocessingterminal.b)ControlConsoles–Prepay,post-pay,remotetotalizing,orremoteactuatingandmonitoringdeviceslocatedindoorsorwithinastructuresomedistancefromthedispensingdevice.c)CreditAcceptanceUnits–Dollarbill,coin,token,pulse,orcreditcardactivateddeviceswhicharecapableofbeinginstalledon,adjacentto,orawayfromthedispensingdevice.d)ElectricComputerResets–Electricallyauthorizedorelectricallyoperateddeviceswhichresetamechanicalcomputer.1.4Theserequirementsdonotcoversafetyoremergencycontrolswhichautomaticallyormanuallyinterrupttheoperationofadispensingdevice.1.5Theterm2device2referstoanyequipmentcoveredbythisstandard.1.6Theserequirementsdonotcoverpurelymechanicalsystemssuchashosenozzleattachmentsandpneumaticorhydraulicactuators.
