【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedprimarilyfordetectingsignificantchangesinthedynamicmodulusofelasticityoflaboratoryorfieldtestspecimensthatareundergoingexposuretoweatheringorothertypesofpotentiallydeterioratinginfluences.Thetestmethodmayalsobeusedtomonitorthedevelopmentofdynamicelasticmoduluswithincreasingmaturityoftestspecimens.Thevalueofthedynamicmodulusofelasticityobtainedbythistestmethodwill,ingeneral,begreaterthanthestaticmodulusofelasticityobtainedbyusingTestMethodC469.Thedifferencedepends,inpart,onthestrengthleveloftheconcrete.Theconditionsofmanufacture,themoisturecontent,andothercharacteristicsofthetestspecimens(seesectiononTestSpecimens)materiallyinfluencetheresultsobtained.Differentcomputedvaluesforthedynamicmodulusofelasticitymayresultfromwidelydifferentresonantfrequenciesofspecimensofdifferentsizesandshapesofthesameconcrete.Therefore,itisnotadvisabletocompareresultsfromspecimensofdifferentsizesorshapes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversmeasurementofthefundamentaltransverse,longitudinal,andtorsionalresonantfrequenciesofconcreteprismsandcylindersforthepurposeofcalculatingdynamicYoung''smodulusofelasticity,thedynamicmodulusofrigidity(sometimesdesignatedasx201C;themodulusofelasticityinshearx201D;),anddynamicPoisson''sratio.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
